Allen Marcus Launches allenmarcus.com, a Home for His Podcasts and Audio Archive
The site brings together SHAZAAM ALLEN KAZAAM, Weaving Spiders, Uncle TED Talks, Dogface Dudes, and SLEEPY SPIDER SLEEPS, alongside a searchable archive of long-form interviews and independent audio productions.
MINNEAPOLIS, — Independent audio producer Allen Marcus today launched allenmarcus.com, a central online home for his podcasts, interviews, and original audio productions. The site consolidates his growing body of work under one independent digital presence, with SHAZAAM ALLEN KAZAAM now live and Weaving Spiders, Uncle TED Talks, and SLEEPY SPIDER SLEEPS also represented.
Podcasts and interviews often become scattered across platforms, making older productions increasingly difficult to find. allenmarcus.com brings Marcus's work together in one place, giving current programming a central destination while maintaining an organized, searchable archive of past productions. The collection includes long-form conversations covering fantasy literature, occult history, psychology, mythology, symbolism, and esoteric traditions.
“Gather people around an idea, follow the connections, and preserve what emerges,” said Marcus, describing the philosophy behind the project.
THE ARCHIVE
The archive draws on years of independent audio production and conversations with authors, researchers, and public figures. Featured guests include:
- Richard A. Knaak — New York Times bestselling fantasy author known for his Dragonlance, Diablo, Warcraft, and Dragonrealm novels. Weaving Spiders, Episode 237.
- Jerry Marzinsky — Retired licensed psychotherapist with more than three decades of experience in psychiatric hospitals and prisons, and co-author of An Amazing Journey Into the Psychotic Mind. He discusses his interpretation of voices associated with psychosis in Weaving Spiders, Episode 236.
- Christopher McIntosh — Oxford-educated writer and historian specializing in Western esoteric traditions. Author of Occult Germany, Occult Russia, and Beyond the North Wind, his conversations explore Germanic and Nordic mythology, Rosicrucianism, alchemy, Rudolf Steiner, Loki, and Ásatrú.
- Allen H. Greenfield — Occultist, UFO researcher, co-founder of the National UFO Conference, and author of The Secret Cipher of the Ufonauts. Associated with the Free Illuminist movement, he was consecrated as a Gnostic bishop under the name Tau Sir Hasirim. Featured in Weaving Spiders Welcome, Episode 79.
- Temple Grandin — Animal scientist, Colorado State University professor, bestselling author, and autism advocate known for designing humane livestock-handling systems. Marcus interviewed her preserved in the Weaving Spiders archive.
THE PRODUCTIONS
SHAZAAM ALLEN KAZAAM — An audio production exploring tarot, esoteric traditions, and experimental conversation. Live now and serving as the main program on the site.
Uncle TED Talks — A weekly live show broadcasting Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Central, with new audio released Thursday mornings. It mixes morbid humor, cultural criticism, and irreverent commentary on industrial civilization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The show grew out of Deliberating Dogface Dudes and continues with Steve Poikonen of AMWakeup, Benjamin Balderson, and James Maiden. In its fictional mythology, the collective of wizards is “a grumbling of Gandalfs.”
Weaving Spiders — Originally Weaving Spiders Welcome and later Weaving Spiders Webs, this collaborative conversation series explores occult traditions, horror, death culture, seasonal rituals, and comparative symbolism. It grew out of the video-call culture of the 2020 lockdown era, where participants contributed words, images, symbols, and ideas and followed the connections that emerged.
SLEEPY SPIDER SLEEPS — Ambient instrumental music designed for sleep and relaxation. Previews are available upon request.
Secret Society of Good Guys — Led by Project Chaney, this show explores culture, symbolism, and unconventional ideas within the wider Weaving Spiders network. Marcus is a recurring guest. Visit projectchaney.com.
Marcus has also appeared on the Paranoid American Podcast and InnerVerse, and as a caller on My Family Thinks I'm Crazy.
